How life has changed!

Updated: Nov 3, 2019

It has been 2 months since we moved in to our new home and our feet haven’t touch the ground! Not only has it been two of our busiest work months to date, having received 40 new briefs and 5 new clients since the move, we have already made some major changes to the offices to expand our specialisms and our team!

The starting point to the changes was the addition of our bespoke-made spray booth (nick named The Dan Cave), managed by Dan, our resident spray paint specialist. Since it was finished in Mid-December it has already sprayed 900 items and used over 300 litres of paint. Dan’s family is never quite sure what colour he will return home after a day at the office, and he informs us that yellow is the hardest colour to both paint and wash off. The spray booth has already proved itself to be one of our most valuable new additions and we expect it to go from strength to strength.

Next up was the new mezzanine level. Alone, this 5000 sq ft mezzanine is bigger than our last premises and is already at 70% capacity. The plan is to use this space to store client work and items no longer needed, so that we can recycle materials where possible. As a business we are looking for more and more ways to re-use and recycle in a bid to minimise our wastage and in turn reduce our impact on the environment.

A small section of a very large new space!

So, two months in, a spray booth, mezzanine and not to mention our four new team members. We are delighted to have added Matthew Winn as our Warehouse Manager; Alfie Marjoram-Taylor who joins the team as a Junior Set Builder; Chloe Burrell who joined as a Junior Project Manager, but also specialises in video content production; and last but not least, Charles Britten who is our new Head of Design. We have been on the hunt for a Charles for quite some time and are delighted to have finally found him. Originally an industrial designer, he brings with him over 20 years’ retail experience working with international brands, exactly the man to head our growing design team!

As you can see, our new home has been well and truly put to the test since we moved in and we are already planning our next investment. 2019 is off to a flying start and with the new team members, and our lovely new clients, we cannot wait to see what the rest of the year will hold.
