Goodwood Festival of Speed for Sky Sports
The Challenge
To design, fabricate and install an engaging, two-level space for Sky Sports F1 at their enviable trackside position at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Solution
A structural and technical build in both the hot sun and the pouring rain kept the team on their toes all the way to the chequered flag. Beginning with steel levelling decks and a core steel 2-storey structure, and following with aluminium wall systems, built-out steps and black astroturf, the structure was ready for its final fit out.
At ground level, guests could experience life in the pitlane with a fun pitstop tyre-change challenge while specially constructed decks alongside the main space, allowed guests to get up close and personal with an Aston Martin and a Ferrari. HD plasma screens and Sky Q demonstrations showcased the very latest in Sky technology, completing the premium experience for guests.
The icing on the cake, the canopied top deck, offered an unparalleled view from the stand’s incredible trackside position, come rain or shine. Open to VIP Guests, they enjoyed refreshments and entertainment (Scalextric anyone?) while absorbing all the action from the racetrack for a truly unforgettable experience.
